WHO WE ARE
Spyglass Ops is an operations consultancy helping purpose\-based leaders scale themselves and their visions through operations. Founded by Jhana Li, we partner with growing businesses to diagnose operational bottlenecks, recruit top\-tier operational leaders, and deliver hands\-on transformation programs that create lasting change. We work in the messy middle of business transformation, helping leaders navigate the human side of scaling.
Our mission is to help purpose\-based leaders scale themselves and their visions through operations. We believe operations is the highest leverage point for transformation, touching every part of a business by optimizing time, energy, money, physical resources, and human potential.
Our Core Values are
- Play Like A Nerd: We are a team of nerds, each hopelessly passionate and excited about our area of expertise. We believe that if you are an absolute nerd for what you do, then Work is Play. And we play hard.
- Own Your Opportunities: Every mistake or failure is an opportunity. Take as much ownership as you possibly can and use it as feedback to improve. The only two words you will never hear at this company: fault and blame.
- Commit to Your Own Potential: We expect this of ourselves, each other, and our clients. Relentlessly, critically redefining and growing into the most potent version of ourselves and the impact we can have.
- Van Talk: We are all in this van together, let's talk about the butter. Van Talk is not just a willingness and ability to speak honestly. More importantly, it is a way of receiving communication, not as a personal affront, but as a genuine and necessary act of service to accomplish our shared goals and highest potential.
\\If our culture and mission does not resonate with you, please do not bother applying.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Spyglass Ops team is looking for a sharp, systems\-minded Revenue Operations Specialist with deep experience in GoHighLevel, marketing automation, and CRM architecture. This is a hands\-on builder role for someone who thrives on turning partially built systems into a cohesive, high\-performing revenue engine.
Spyglass Ops is at an exciting inflection point. We have a prototype demand generation engine producing results, but the systems connecting marketing to CRM to sales have not been properly architected for scale. Leads are not flowing cleanly end\-to\-end, attribution visibility is limited, and manual processes are slowing the team down. The application code word is EMPOWER. We need someone who can take ownership of the full revenue operations stack, bridge the gaps between marketing and sales, and build the infrastructure that allows this business to scale without being constrained by its own systems.
This is not a strategy\-only role. You will be the dedicated owner of our revenue systems, responsible for auditing what exists, rebuilding what needs to change, and architecting what comes next. You will work closely with our Head of Marketing and sales team to ensure every lead is captured, routed, tracked, and followed up on with precision.
This is a fully remote 1099 contractor position. This is a critical position within the business, as such, we host a rigorous, 4\-part application process.
RESPONSIBILITIES (TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE)
Marketing Automation \& Systems Architecture
- Build and manage advanced workflows in GoHighLevel across the full customer lifecycle
- Connect tools including Lovable, GHL, Make (Integromat), and other platforms via APIs and webhooks
- Design scalable automation systems that eliminate manual work and reduce gaps or duplication in data flow
- Ensure clean, reliable data movement between all systems in the revenue stack
CRM \& Pipeline Management
- Build and optimize sales pipelines inside GoHighLevel that reflect how sales actually operates
- Define lifecycle stages, lead status definitions, lead scoring, and handoff logic between marketing and sales
- Implement best practices for pipeline visibility, hygiene, and forecasting
- Partner closely with sales to improve speed\-to\-lead, follow\-up processes, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity
Tracking, Attribution \& Data Integrity
- Set up and maintain tracking infrastructure including Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and other attribution tools
- Ensure accurate attribution across channels so leadership can make confident investment decisions
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and data discrepancies proactively
- Maintain clean, reliable data across all platforms
Dashboards \& Reporting
- Build dashboards that provide clear visibility into funnel performance, pipeline health, and ROI
- Translate raw data into actionable insights that inform marketing and sales decisions
- Support leadership with regular reporting on growth metrics, funnel performance, and campaign effectiveness
REQUIREMENTS (EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES)
Technical Requirements (Non\-Negotiable)
- Deep, hands\-on experience with GoHighLevel including pipeline building, workflow automation, and system configuration
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Make (Integromat), Zapier, webhooks, and API integrations
- Proven ability to integrate multiple tools into a unified, scalable system
- Comfortable troubleshooting complex automation logic, broken data flows, and system integration issues
- Experience setting up and maintaining tracking infrastructure (Meta Pixel, CAPI, Google Analytics)
- Experience building dashboards and translating performance data into clear, actionable reporting
RevOps \& Marketing Understanding
- Background in marketing operations or growth operations, not just sales ops
- Strong understanding of funnels, lead generation, conversion optimization, and performance marketing
- Experience building and managing CRM pipelines with clear lifecycle stages and handoff logic
- Familiarity with attribution models and cross\-channel tracking
Builder Mentality (Critical)
- You have built systems from scratch, not just optimized what someone else created
- You think in systems, not tasks. You see how individual pieces connect to drive revenue outcomes
- You move fast, test, iterate, and improve without needing to be told what to do next
- You take full ownership of your domain and treat it as your own business to run
Mindset \& Cultural Fit
- You hold yourself accountable to the highest standards of performance and are resilient in the face of obstacles or failure
- You thrive in fast\-changing, startup\-like environments where resourcefulness and initiative matter more than titles
- You are comfortable working 100% remotely, managing your schedule, and meeting deadlines without direct supervision
- You are a clear, direct communicator who raises issues proactively rather than waiting for someone to notice
- You are comfortable operating as an individual contributor with high autonomy and high ownership
- Ability to be available for internal team meetings held midday EST
Nice to Have
- Experience working in startups or fast\-paced growth environments
- Familiarity with data tools or BI platforms
- Experience working closely with growth or marketing teams in a consulting or agency setting
- Experience with Google Analytics
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- 30 Days: Complete audit of existing systems, full funnel mapped, leaks and gaps identified, and anything actively broken stabilized
- 60 Days: Pipelines rebuilt or optimized, tools connected, core automations implemented, and clean data flow established between marketing, CRM, and sales
- 90 Days: Dashboards live and delivering insights, attribution visibility significantly improved, manual work reduced, and measurable improvement in pipeline efficiency and speed\-to\-lead
BENEFITS
- Fully remote position
- Professional Development: This role will be supported by an operations\-focused team that values continuous learning and growth
