About This Role

At Plymouth Rock, we are focused on strengthening our Independent Agency channel by delivering data\-informed marketing strategies, tools, and experiences that help our agent partners grow. The Marketing Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting IA Marketing and strategic initiatives by translating data into insights, shaping requirements, and supporting cross\-functional projects that improve agent engagement and business outcomes.

This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, and Analytics teams to support initiative planning, execution, and evaluation through strong business analysis, reporting, and competitive intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis \& Strategic Support

  • Support IA Marketing and enterprise strategic initiatives through data querying, validation, and analysis to inform decision\-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze data and business needs to shape requirements, identify gaps, and define success metrics.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and clearly communicate findings, implications, and recommendations.
  • Support the development of business cases, including pulling and synthesizing reports to evaluate opportunities, performance trends, and gaps.
  • Perform data mapping across systems and sources to support reporting accuracy, requirements definition, and downstream execution.
  • Provide technical support and detailed data analysis to help assess current business processes to increase team efficiency and highlight the most impactful insights.

Project \& UAT Support

  • Manage and/or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IA Marketing and agency\-facing initiatives, ensuring requirements are met and issues are documented, tested, and resolved.
  • Support project execution by tracking requirements, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across cross\-functional teams.
  • Assist with post\-launch evaluation to ensure solutions deliver intended business outcomes.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct competitive intelligence and benchmarking to understand how competitors support independent agents across marketing, tools, and digital experiences.
  • Synthesize competitive insights into clear takeaways to help inform IA Marketing strategy, positioning, and prioritization.

Reporting \& Insights

  • Pull, analyze, and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to support IA Marketing performance tracking and planning.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation, reconciliation, and collaboration with analytics and technology partners.
  • Identify insights and trends related to agent engagement, campaign performance, adoption, and funnel metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5\+ years of experience in a business analyst, marketing analyst, or data analyst role (insurance or financial services preferred).
  • Expert MS Office skills required; Experience with querying tools (SQL) preferred.
  • Experience querying and analyzing data to support business initiatives, requirements, and decision\-making.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem\-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and requirements for both technical and non\-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting projects, system initiatives, or UAT activities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross\-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with independent insurance agency models, marketing programs, or agency\-facing tools is a plus.

Salary Range

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $97,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
