About This Role

The Post Oak Group is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Revenue Operations Analyst to support and optimize the firm’s revenue strategy across capital markets, M\&A advisory, and strategic growth initiatives. This is a high\-impact role responsible for supporting top\-line growth, improving operational efficiency, and aligning revenue\-generating activities across the organization.

Compensation: This position offers a salary of $6,000 per month / $72,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.

Role Overview As Revenue Operations Analyst, you will support the firm’s end\-to\-end revenue engine across all business lines. This is a highly analytical and execution\-oriented role focused on improving conversion efficiency, increasing pipeline velocity, and supporting measurable revenue growth through disciplined operational management. The Revenue Operations Analyst will assist with weekly performance tracking across every stage of the firm’s business development funnel, including outbound outreach, meeting conversion, follow\-up engagement, proposal issuance, mandate execution, and closed revenue generation. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to identify inefficiencies within the funnel and support initiatives that systematically improve conversion metrics at each stage.

This position requires a data\-driven professional with strong analytical skills and experience supporting sales organizations, revenue operations, or business development teams. The ideal candidate understands how to implement reporting processes, KPI tracking systems, CRM management practices, and scalable operational infrastructure that improve overall revenue productivity over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report weekly performance metrics across all stages of the firm’s revenue funnel
  • Monitor conversion rates between each stage of the pipeline, including:
  • Initial outreach to first meeting
  • First meeting to second meeting
  • Second meeting to signed engagement
  • Engagement to closed transaction
  • Closed transaction to retained / repeat client relationships
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards and KPI tracking frameworks
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and revenue leakage throughout the sales and client acquisition process
  • Support operational improvements designed to increase conversion rates, shorten sales cycles, and improve pipeline velocity
  • Assist in developing forecasting models and revenue tracking systems to improve visibility into firm performance
  • Maintain CRM systems, pipeline hygiene, sales reporting, and revenue analytics infrastructure
  • Help establish accountability systems and performance benchmarks across business development and investor coverage teams
  • Work closely with marketing teams to evaluate lead quality, campaign performance, and client acquisition efficiency
  • Support senior leadership with growth strategy initiatives through measurable operational execution
  • Assist with implementing scalable systems, processes, and automation initiatives to support continued firm expansion
  • Analyze historical sales and engagement data to identify trends and recommend data\-backed operational improvements
  • Continuously evaluate outreach, follow\-up, meeting structure, and conversion processes to improve close rates
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for business development and revenue operations personnel

Qualifications

  • 1–4\+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business development, analytics, consulting, financial services, or related fields
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting pipeline metrics, conversion data, and reporting frameworks
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, KPI management, revenue analytics, and operational reporting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements
  • Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast\-paced, performance\-oriented environment
  • Experience within investment banking, financial services, consulting, private equity, or relationship\-driven industries preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and reporting tools preferred
