About This Role

At Rarebreed Veterinary Partners, we seek to elevate the human experience by advancing the wellbeing of pets, their people, and the professionals who care for them. We believe the work our hospital teams do deepens the human\-animal bond and enriches our human experience.

Across the company, we work as one team to provide compassionate, accessible veterinary care that inspires lasting trust with pet parents, and the person in this job plays a critical role in delivering upon that mission. We're a dedicated and hard\-working bunch, and we take our work seriously…but we're also looking for people who enjoy the journey and want to have fun along the way!

We support a growing network of veterinary hospitals across the country—and strong vendor partnerships are a critical part of helping those hospitals operate at their best. We're hiring a Vendor Relationship \& Hospital Enablement Manager to lead the day\-to\-day success of key vendor partnerships while helping hospitals translate enterprise programs into real operational results.

This is a highly cross\-functional role for someone who can move comfortably between data, operations, vendor strategy, and field execution. You'll work closely with internal leaders, hospital teams, and external partners to improve pricing performance, strengthen accountability, solve problems, and ensure our hospitals get maximum value from the programs and partnerships that support them.

If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity, building relationships, and driving measurable business impact, this role offers the opportunity to influence both enterprise strategy and day\-to\-day hospital success.

The target annual hiring range for this position is $85,000 – $95,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual performance\-based bonus.

What You'll Own

  • Manage vendor relationships across onboarding, implementation, performance tracking, and issue resolution
  • Serve as an internal expert on pricing, rebates, contracts, service commitments, and vendor program execution
  • Analyze spend, pricing, and contract performance to identify savings opportunities and reduce inefficiencies
  • Support hospital teams and regional leaders with vendor\-related decisions, escalations, and operational challenges
  • Translate contracts, pricing structures, and program details into practical guidance that hospitals can use
  • Develop clear updates, presentations, and resources for leaders across the organization
  • Track vendor performance metrics and help drive continuous improvement
  • Support acquisitions, new hospital onboarding, and vendor integration efforts
  • Help lead vendor events, education sessions, and hospital\-facing engagements

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role You're someone who combines strong business judgment with practical execution. You can analyze details, see patterns, communicate clearly, and move initiatives forward across multiple stakeholders.

You likely bring

  • Experience in vendor management, procurement, operations, consulting, or similar business\-facing roles
  • Strong analytical ability, especially around pricing, spend, rebates, and operational performance
  • Confidence navigating contracts, service issues, and vendor relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence across teams without direct authority
  • A proactive, solutions\-oriented mindset

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–4\+ years of relevant experience in multi\-site, field\-based, or operational environments
  • Experience supporting program adoption or operational change across distributed teams
  • Familiarity with healthcare, veterinary, retail, or other complex service organizations is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft 365; exposure to tools like Asana, Vetcove, or contract systems is helpful

Why This Role Is Different This is not a traditional procurement role. You'll be directly connected to the operational side of the business—helping hospitals solve real challenges, improve day\-to\-day workflows, and ensure vendor partnerships create measurable value where it matters most.
