Role Summary The Marketing Operations Coordinator owns lifecycle and campaign marketing across email, SMS, paid, and social channels — driving strategy, execution, and performance optimization. This role sits at the intersection of creative, data, and cross\-functional collaboration, ensuring cohesive and effective brand messaging across all touchpoints.
In addition to hands\-on campaign work, this role owns project management and cross\-functional coordination across marketing, product, ecommerce, and external partners — ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities. The role is also responsible for protecting the voice of the brand: guiding and writing copy across all channels, including email, SMS, paid ads, product descriptions, website, and social media.
Responsibilities
Email, SMS \& Paid Media
Campaign Strategy \& Execution
- Own briefing and execution of all email, SMS, and paid campaigns across product launches, restocks, and key business moments
- Develop campaign angles, messaging frameworks, and creative direction based on product priorities and performance insights
- Write all customer\-facing copy across email, SMS, and paid ads, ensuring consistency in brand voice
Paid Media Management
- Maintain visibility into paid campaign status, ensuring assets, links, and deliverables are completed on schedule
- Prepare paid ad concepts, including multiple copy variations and creative angles for each campaign
- Track and document creative feedback, applying learnings to future iterations
- Coordinate with cross\-functional partners to ensure timely launch execution
Email \& SMS Planning
- Build and inform the monthly email calendar using performance data (revenue per recipient, launches, restocks)
- Lead weekly email briefing meetings with clear direction on content, design, and messaging
- Align SMS calendar with email strategy and manage approvals with external partners
QA \& Launch Execution
- Own test send approvals and final QA process for all email and sms campaigns
- Communicate upcoming launches to internal teams, ensuring alignment on timing, assets, and outstanding deliverables
Lifecycle \& Flows
- Manage lifecycle marketing flows, including auditing existing journeys and identifying opportunities for optimization
- Develop new flow concepts (creative \+ copy), iterate with partners, and oversee launch execution
- Introduce testing strategies across subject lines, personalization, and content to create tailored subscriber experiences
- Continuously refine briefing processes and campaign workflows to improve efficiency and output quality
Project Management \& Cross\-Functional Leadership
- Own end\-to\-end project management across marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly defined and met
- Guide quarterly planning sessions and maintain the master marketing calendar with visibility across all teams
- Coordinate across marketing, product, ecommerce, creative, and external agencies to align on priorities and execution
- Lead and document recurring team meetings, tracking action items and ensuring follow\-through
- Proactively identify gaps, blockers, and timeline risks, and drive solutions to keep projects on track
Holiday \& Promotional Campaigns
- Lead briefing and execution of marketing flows, campaigns, and on\-site messaging during key promotional periods
- Ensure all customer\-facing messaging (email, SMS, website, popups) is aligned and up to date
- Conduct competitive research to inform campaign strategy and positioning
Brand \& Campaign Strategy
- Own and maintain the marketing calendar, aligning all channels across timelines and launches
- Define seasonal product positioning and work directly with designers and creative team to develop campaign WHY / HOW / WHO
- Translate product strategy into cohesive campaign messaging and storytelling
- Write product copy at scale (60\+ PDPs per season), ensuring alignment with brand voice and merchandising strategy
- Instill SeaVees’ brand mission, product, and purchasing process into clear, welcoming language with a conversational, human voice
Ecommerce
- Write and manage all on\-site marketing copy, including homepage and promotional banners
- Optimize website support content to improve customer experience and reduce friction
Reporting \& Analytics
- Lead monthly reporting across PR and influencer ShopMY channels, translating performance into clear insights
- Partner with internal and external teams to gather data and build performance recaps
- Work with the ecommerce team to analyze paid media traffic/sales, social/PR/influencer impact, and email/SMS performance
- Use insights to inform campaign strategy, content direction, and testing opportunities
Strategy, Innovation \& Growth
- Stay up to date on the latest marketing best practices and emerging trends to surface new ideas and opportunities for growth
- Identify performance opportunities across paid, email/SMS, social, and PR channels
- Develop and implement testing strategies (subject lines, personalization, content, etc.)
- Support Head of Marketing in gathering and analyzing metrics from internal and external sources to build monthly marketing decks
Qualifications
- Marketing copywriting experience preferred (but not required)
- Hands\-on experience with Klaviyo or similar email/SMS platform preferred
- Already using AI tools like Claude in your day\-to\-day work
- Relentlessly curious — you don’t settle for surface\-level understanding; ready to become an expert on everything SeaVees and shoes
- Self\-directed and resourceful. You don't wait around to be told what to do
- Self\-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and able to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Impeccable briefing skills with strong written and verbal communication and a proven track record of effective collaboration
- Strong communicator. You can brief a designer, manage an agency relationship, and present results to a founder
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Pay range: $75k\-$85k · Depending on Experience
