About This Role
The Role
We’re hiring a Revenue Systems Engineer to build the internal systems that power our go\-to\-market engine.
This role sits at the intersection of revenue, data, and engineering. You’ll own the architecture, automation, and reliability of the tools and workflows that connect sales, marketing, customer success, and finance. That includes our CRM, our enrichment and engagement tools, the integrations between them, and the underlying data flows that make reporting trustworthy.
This is not a traditional RevOps analyst role. We’re looking for someone with strong backend or internal\-systems instincts. Someone who likes tracing problems to their root cause, designing clean abstractions, and replacing manual work with software and reliable automation.
You’ll be a great fit if you want to work at a fast\-paced startup, care about craftsmanship, and enjoy partnering with sharp, ambitious teammates across functions. We want someone who moves quickly, communicates clearly, and is easy to work with when the pace picks up.
What you’ll own
You’ll design and maintain the systems that keep our GTM stack accurate, scalable, and useful. In practice, that means owning CRM architecture, field design, lifecycle logic, lead routing, pipeline definitions, and the integrations that keep our systems in sync.
You’ll build automation where manual work is slowing the team down. That may include workflow automation inside our GTM tools, custom scripts, API\-based integrations, data cleanup jobs, or lightweight internal tooling that improves reliability and visibility.
You’ll make our data trustworthy. You’ll define schemas, improve data quality, establish governance, and ensure leaders can rely on dashboards for pipeline, conversion, forecasting, campaign attribution, and customer expansion.
You’ll partner closely with the Head of GTM, AEs, marketing, customer success, and leadership to identify bottlenecks in the funnel and turn business problems into systems solutions. You won’t just report on issues. You’ll help design and implement the fix.
You’ll also help us scale how the team works. That includes documenting processes, improving onboarding, and creating operational foundations that make the company more effective as we grow.
What we’re looking for
We’re open to different backgrounds, but most strong candidates will likely have 3–6 years of experience in one or more of the following environments: backend engineering, internal tools or business systems engineering, technical RevOps, solutions engineering, or operations at a high\-growth startup.
You should have experience building or maintaining systems that support sales, marketing, finance, or customer success. You’re comfortable working with APIs, data models, automations, and debugging across multiple tools. You don’t need to come from a traditional RevOps background, but you should be excited to own technical systems that drive revenue.
You should be comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, and at least one scripting or application language such as Python or TypeScript. Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, or similar CRM platforms matters, but we care more about systems thinking, understanding of sales mechanics, and your ability to build reliable workflows than about having clicked every button in a specific tool.
Just as important, you should be someone people like working with. You communicate clearly, document what you build, ask good questions, and collaborate well with non\-engineering teammates. You have high standards without unnecessary ego. You care about speed, but you also care about correctness and maintainability.
Nice to have
Experience with usage\-based SaaS, developer tools, messaging infrastructure, or API products would be especially helpful. Familiarity with attribution, forecasting, quote\-to\-cash workflows, or commissions logic is also a plus. Prior experience at an early\-stage startup is valuable if it taught you how to operate with ambiguity and build from first principles.
What success looks like
In your first few months, our CRM and GTM systems should more closely reflect how we actually sell. Core automations should be more reliable, reporting should be more trusted, and manual work should be materially lower.
Over time, you should become the person who helps Sent turn messy operational problems into clear systems. When a workflow breaks, launches change, or pricing evolves, you help the company adapt quickly without losing data quality or process clarity.
Why this role is compelling
This is a chance to build an operating system for a fast\-growing company from the ground up. You’ll have meaningful ownership, direct exposure to company strategy, and the ability to shape how Sent scales. You’ll work on real technical problems with immediate business impact, alongside a team that values speed, creativity, and strong judgment.
