Position Summary
The Regional Revenue Operations Manager is a full\-time position responsible for supporting the company’s effectiveness by developing, analyzing, and governing regional revenue strategies, pricing standards, account segmentation, and market approaches. This role partners with internal departments to shape policies, tools, and initiatives that drive sustainable revenue growth.
The role exercises independent judgment in evaluating customer requirements, structuring proposals/quotes, and aligning internal resources to manage and/or support business goals.
The Regional Revenue Operations Manager serves as a critical link between Outside Sales Representatives, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations ensuring timely and accurate communication and project management.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy \& Governance
- Develops and maintains regional sales strategies, account segmentation frameworks, and go\-to\-market models.
- Recommends and enforces pricing standards, discount thresholds, and deal\-review standards in partnership with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales leadership.
- Evaluates sales enablement tools and recommends structural improvements.
- Evaluates and prioritizes inbound leads based on strategic criteria and business impact. Conducts discovery with prospects to assess fit and recommend solutions.
- Completes timely communication to ensure new lead engagement and dormant lead re\-engagement with the associated Outside Sales Representatives.
Business Operations \& Analysis
- Analyzes market trends, customer trends, and competitive positioning to inform decision\-making.
- Prepares reports, forecasts, and recommendations regarding sales performance and risk.
- Assesses the financial and operational impact of proposed initiatives.
Policy, Process \& Enablement
- Collaborates with the Outside Sales team to create and execute account strategies. Provides consultative input on technical solutions, market positioning, and customer engagement approaches to accelerate growth in key accounts.
- Analyzes customer data, market trends and competitor activity to provide insights for leadership.
Cross\-Functional Leadership
- Leads cross\-functional initiatives involving Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Initiates independent recommendations on prioritization of markets, products, and customer segments in partnership with sales leadership.
- Escalates and resolves complex business issues with material, financial or operational impact.
- Maintains strong transitions with all internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction through timely updates and proactive communication.
- Serves as internal advisor providing cross\-functional recommendations for revenue initiatives.
Quote Management
- Governs quoting and pricing standards.
- Reviews non\-standard pricing requests and makes recommendations.
- Evaluates RFQs for strategic alignment, revenue impact, and operational feasibility prior to approval.
- Partners with Outside Sales to ensure deals comply with established policies.
- Oversees the RFQ process for custom parts coordinating with Engineering and Supply Chain departments. Exercises judgment in balancing customer requirements, feasibility, and profitability before presenting recommendations for approval.
- Provides regular communication regarding status updates and action items.
- Initiates recommendations on new product opportunities, pricing strategies, or process improvements.
Here’s what you will bring to the table
- BA or BS Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related degree, and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales operations, business analytics, pricing strategies, or commercial operations (B2B preferred). In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience is required.
- Proven ability to analyze customer needs, exercise discretion in recommending tailored solutions.
- Discretion and exceptional independent judgment evaluating financial and operational risk.
- Experience developing account strategies and managing initiatives focused on revenue growth.
- Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow.
· Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle repetitive hand/wrist motions such as typing, using a computer mouse, phone and writing utensils.
- Some travel may be required.
