What We Need

The Team Lead, Revenue Operations plays a critical role in driving the daily execution, performance, and operational excellence of Synapse Health's pre\-billing revenue workflows, including Order Confirmation, Patient Eligibility, and Renewals. This position is responsible for ensuring intake accuracy, documentation readiness, and proactive renewal management to support downstream billing success, reduce held revenue, and maintain strong clean claim performance.

This leader serves as a key operational partner across Revenue Cycle, Billing, Compliance, QA, and Customer Operations, helping identify workflow gaps, improve process efficiency, and strengthen overall revenue integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast\-paced healthcare environment, leads with accountability and urgency, and is passionate about building scalable, high\-performing operational processes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the daily execution and oversight of Order Confirmation, Patient Eligibility, and Renewal workflows to ensure operational efficiency and billing readiness.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to align team performance with business volumes and SLA commitments.
  • Ensure intake accuracy, documentation completeness, and adherence to payer requirements to support clean claims and reduce downstream billing delays.
  • Oversee renewal execution, including proactive management of documentation readiness and prior authorization (PAR) timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could result in held revenue, billing delays, or eligibility issues through proactive workflow management.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, aging, turnaround times, and SLA performance, implementing corrective actions and coaching as needed.
  • Analyze operational trends and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance revenue cycle performance and team efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for front\-end operational issues impacting billing, claims processing, or revenue realization.
  • Partner closely with QA, Billing, Compliance, and cross\-functional leadership to reinforce operational standards and resolve workflow gaps.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members to drive consistency, accountability, and performance excellence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and workflow tracking to support operational transparency and leadership visibility.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business and operational needs.

What You Have

  • 5–7\+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, intake, eligibility, or renewals.
  • Strong understanding of payer requirements, documentation standards, prior authorization workflows, and revenue cycle operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing daily operations, balancing competing priorities, and achieving SLA\-driven performance goals.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching teams within a production\-focused healthcare environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn department\-specific systems and technologies.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $30 – $37\.50 per hour. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
