Your TrueCar Experience

The Opportunity

The Director, Revenue Operations, is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s end\-to\-end revenue engine. By aligning Sales, Service/Performance Management, Partner, Finance, and Customer Success, this role ensures and drives a unified strategy that maintains sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence.

Revenue Operations serves as the central hub for revenue strategy, systems, data, and performance management. The team focuses on creating seamless processes across the customer lifecycle, from pipeline development to retention, while equipping leadership with accurate insights and forecasting to support informed decision\-making.

How you'll drive TrueCar's success

  • Revenue Strategy \& Planning \- Partners with senior leadership to define and execute the company’s revenue strategy, establish growth targets, and ensure cross\-functional alignment toward shared objectives.
  • Process Optimization \- Continuously evaluates and improves revenue\-related workflows across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to reduce friction, increase efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Data \& Analytics Ownership \- Manages the revenue data ecosystem to ensure accurate reporting, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and actionable performance insights for stakeholders.
  • Technology \& Systems Enablement \- Acts as a stakeholder in the evaluation and optimization of tools impacting revenue generation to improve productivity, integration, and user adoption across teams.
  • Performance Management \- Defines, tracks, and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales effectiveness, customer retention, and overall revenue health. Provides regular reporting and recommendations to drive performance improvement.
  • Revenue Forecasting \& Financial Alignment \- Collaborates closely with Finance to develop reliable forecasting models, maintain accurate revenue reporting, and support strategic budgeting processes.
  • Cross\-Functional Alignment \- Ensures consistent communication and coordination between Sales, Operations, Finance, Service, and Customer Success to maintain a cohesive and scalable revenue strategy.
  • Team Leadership \& Culture \- Builds and develops a high\-performing Revenue Operations team, fostering a data\-driven culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and long\-term growth.

Base salary: $155,000 \- $207,000
