About This Role

Job Summary

The AI Enablement Change Management Lead is responsible for leading the culture and people\-side of artificial intelligence adoption across the enterprise. This role designs and executes change strategies that enable employees, leaders, and teams to effectively adopt, trust, and embed AI enabled ways of working. The role partners closely with AI, technology, data, business, HR, and communications teams to ensure AI initiatives deliver sustained value while aligning with ethical, cultural, and operational expectations. This role may also play a critical role at the plant level, bringing AI manufacturing solutions to life. This role requires experience, expertise and balance in both strategy and execution pull\-through from intake thru adoption and partners closely with Vertiv senior executive leadership, IT leadership, business leaders, program teams, and functional stakeholders to ensure the AI ‘movement’ is understood, embraced, and embedded into daily operations and deliver measurable outcomes.

The successful candidate is experienced and proficient in organizational change management frameworks (discovery thru execution), adoption plans and metrics, as well as AI standards of practice, application and industry trends.

Key partnerships include Executive Leadership, IT, Global Process Owners, Sales, HR, Growth \& Strategy, and others.

Key Responsibilities

AI Change Strategy \& Enablement

  • Develop and lead enterprise\-wide AI change and adoption strategies aligned to business outcomes
  • Translate AI capabilities into clear impacts on roles, workflows, decision\-making, and behaviors
  • Ensure change approaches reflect responsible AI principles, employee experience, and workforce readiness

Stakeholder \& Leadership Engagement

  • Partner with executive sponsors, product owners, and functional leaders to drive AI adoption
  • Coach leaders and managers on leading teams through AI enabled change and new ways of working
  • Build change champion networks to support local adoption and feedback loops

Communications Strategy \& Planning

  • Design and deliver AI focused communications that build understanding, trust, and transparency
  • Partner with Learning \& Development to define enablement, training, and upskilling strategies
  • Address common concerns such as role impact, ethics, data privacy, and decision transparency

Adoption, Behavior Change \& Measurement

  • Define adoption and value realization metrics specific to AI solutions
  • Monitor sentiment, resistance, and readiness; proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Support sustainment by embedding AI usage into processes, performance expectations, and culture

Integration \& Governance

  • Integrate change activities into AI product, platform, and program delivery lifecycles
  • Partner with HR, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to align change strategies with governance and policy requirements
  • Contribute to evolving AI change standards, playbooks, and best practices

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in the above preferred.
  • 7\-10 years proven ability to lead large\-scale, complex, global transformation initiatives in a fast\-paced, matrixed organization driving strategy and execution from intake thru adoption/value realization.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting digital, data, or AI enabled transformations.
  • Proficiency and understanding of emerging trends and industry practices around all facets of AI in the workplace.
  • Consulting background working with a variety of clients and transformation initiatives desired.
  • Prosci certified.
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing change strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes and align with organizational goals.
  • Advanced understanding of change management methodologies such as, but not limited to, Kotter, Prosci, ADKAR, as well as process improvement frameworks like LEAN/Six Sigma and Agile.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across all levels and with executive leadership, influence decision\-making, and foster alignment across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, inspire collaboration, and navigate cultural and geographic diversity.
  • Experience in data\-driven decision\-making and leveraging analytics to guide strategy and measure success.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP), or process improvement (LEAN/Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
  • Experience navigating a global organization.

Preferred Skills \& Experience

  • Experience supporting large\-scale transformations, digital implementations, or operational change
  • Experienced user of AI tools, automation, and advanced analytics with proven ability to apply these in change management and digital transformation
  • Background in manufacturing, operations, or enterprise environments (strongly desired)
  • Strong understanding of workforce impact, reskilling, and human\-AI collaboration models
  • Excellent executive presence with the ability to explain complex concepts simply

Travel : upwards of 25% domestic and international.
